Abstract
This paper describes a light capturing and projection configuration that utilizes a sliding sensor configuration to capture the visible scene part by part. The entire light capturing and projection configuration consists of a concave mirror, a beam splitter, an enclosure and a sensor configuration. The sensor configuration will contain 4 identical sensors. The light capturing and projection configuration can be utilized to capture a visible scene by exposing the concave mirror, section by section, utilizing a sliding mechanism. During the visible scene capturing procedure, each exposed concave mirror section will be utilized for projecting a specific image projection area, which corresponds to a specific area section of the visible scene onto the containing sensor configuration.
