Abstract
Field weakening motor control is crucial for electric vehicle (EV) applications as it allows the motor to operate efficiently at higher speeds. The existing industry standard Field Weakening (FW) controller faces issues of torque inaccuracy causing mismatch between commanded and actual torque on the shaft in a production or vehicle environment. The proposed solution discloses a novel controller that can control torque more accurately compared to industry standard in a production environment despite parameter variations.
