Abstract
Methods and systems are described for an acoustic system capable of facilitating an audio signal pathway and capture ultrasonic signals via applications and/or algorithms associated with an electronic device. In an example, systems or methods may receive, via a sensor associated with a device, an audio signal. The received audio data may be converted to audio data. The audio data may be analyzed to determine a difference in acoustic characteristics in relation to a threshold. When the difference in acoustic characteristics is above the threshold, an indication may be sent to stop emittance of an ultrasonic pulse. Conversely, when the difference in acoustic characteristics is below the threshold, an indication may be sent to start or continue emittance of an ultrasonic pulse. In another example, based on the audio signal received, the signal may be analyzed to determine if the audio signal meets a designated criteria. When the received audio signal meets the designated criteria, determining to adjust ultrasonics or audio signal. Based on the determining, sending an indication to adjust the ultrasonics or the audio signal.
