Abstract

Current calendar applications lack the ability to effectively visualize relationships between interconnected meetings and do not provide an easy-to-use interface to view the progression of project-related meetings over time or to see the relationships between various meetings. This disclosure describes an enhanced calendar application and associated user interface powered by artificial intelligence (AI) that can automatically identify and visually represent relationships between meetings. With user permission, AI techniques are used to analyze meeting data and/or metadata to determine if two meetings are related. Related meetings are displayed via visual elements such as connecting lines, colors, tooltips, etc. to enable users view links between meetings. The visual user interface also allows users to make edits to their schedule via simple touch or gesture input.
