Abstract
This study involves the design of button structures for magnetic switches. Currently, magnetic switches are very popular in the gaming market, with many products, especially gaming keyboards, using magnetic switches and keycaps. However, there is a problem with the magnetic switches on the market that is difficult to improve through magnetism alone, namely that the difference in magnetic flux is difficult for sensors to detect. To solve this problem, this study proposes a hook structure with a pre-travel setup on the button or keycap, which helps sensors detect the difference in magnetic flux more easily. At the same time, this design can improve the stability of the button and is suitable for other short-travel products.
