Abstract
Stator cooling is a critical aspect of high-speed motors for achieving high power density. Direct slot cooling is one of the important methods used in electric motors to enhance their efficiency and performance. However direct slot cooling does not allow traditional trickling process for hairpin fixation as the epoxy can block the cooling channels. This solution proposes an innovative hairpin fixation method that uses a rubber component with locking feature to support the winding.
