Abstract

Traditional video production is a resource intensive process, requiring significant time and large financial investment. A common practice in entertainment and gaming industries is to generate prototypes or previews of video content before final video creation. This disclosure describes the use of generative artificial intelligence to automatically generate short video content that can be used directly as short-form video content (e.g., advertisements, short-form videos, etc.) or can be used as part of a larger video that may also include human-created content. Video generation requests are received as prompts, which are refined and processed to ensure compliance. Generative video libraries are used to generate a video in response to the prompt. The video can be provided to the user as is and/or can be tweaked with additional prompts. The techniques can be implemented as a standalone video production system or as a cloud-based video generator with edge processing on a user device. Video generation as described herein can be used to generate video advertisements, for pre-visualization in entertainment and gaming industries, education videos, and in other contexts.
