Abstract
The present disclosure relates to techniques for streamlined amount entry using direction swiping. The method comprising: detecting, by a user device comprising a touchscreen, an arbitrary placement of one or more fingers of a user on the touchscreen; detecting, by the user device, movement of the one or more fingers on the touchscreen in a first direction; causing, by the user device, a first amount to be incremented to a second amount based on the movement of the one or more fingers in the first direction; and processing, by the user device, a transaction using the second amount.
