Abstract
Conventional observability and analytics platforms allow customers to track workflow performance and examine exceptions, but do not provide mechanisms through which users can conduct further analysis and investigation of potential workflow performance issues. Moreover, since conventional platforms do not distinguish between incomplete and slow journeys, users are not able to accurately identify the root cause of a performance issue. In order to address such issues, techniques are proposed herein to provide an enhanced digital observability and analytics platform that generates detailed analysis and visualization of business journeys and allows users to investigate potential reasons why a set of journeys did not complete within an allocated time. The proposed techniques also provide classification of business journey events for journey-level drop-off analysis. Based on these in-depth analytics, users can troubleshoot workflows with performance issues and determine appropriate remedial actions.
