Abstract
Secure Biometric is a feature that implement by System BIOS to make PC support “Microsoft Windows Hello Enhanced Sing-in Security (ESS)”. Recently, it only supports the biometric sensors such as Infrared Camera (IR Cam) and Fingerprint Sensor (FPS) which were integrated into the PC for the security reasons. However, not all the PCs have integrated IR Cam/FPS, such as Desktop PC. Or some power users prefer to purchase external advanced camera for their system. In these cases, users cannot enjoy the advantage of Windows Hello ESS. In this invention, we propose a method to make the PC support Secure Biometric by the external IR Cam and FPS.
