Abstract
For the scenario that two laptops transfer big data to each other without going through any network or router, the common methods are wired connections (Thunderbolt/USB-C/Ethernet), wireless connections (Bluebooth/WIFI Direct), or external storage devices. The advantages of direct transmission are lower latency, enhanced security, and higher transfer rate.
Global Cybersecurity plans to roll out new company-wide technical controls on USB devices on October 1, 2023. The new controls will prevent employees from writing to USB-powered external memory devices on their devices (PCs, laptops).
We proposed a mechanism of reliable and secure high-speed wireless transmission between laptops by utilizing dynamic phase & power optimization method based on WIFI Direct, Phase-Shift Beamforming, and Ultra-wideband (UWB) technology.
