Abstract
Many vehicles have Park Aid features, such as rear and front parking sensors or radars, that aid drivers when maneuvering to park their vehicle in a parking spot. Park Aid features do not protect the owner’s parked vehicle by assisting other vehicles parking that might not have their own park aid features; rather, park aid features assist the driver when maneuvering their own vehicle into a parking spot. Scenarios like this are the ones that the method and solution described in this publication address.
