Abstract
Presented herein are techniques that address issues related to enabling a Vector Packet Processing (VPP) core for Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual Reality (VR), and/or Augmented Reality (AR) workload(s) on edge compute resources in which the edge compute resources can provide multiple edge applications. Some applications provided at the edge compute resources may utilize generic Central Processing Units (CPUs) while others may utilize Graphics Processing Units (GPUs).
