Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a method and a system for facilitating customer on eCommerce websites to do financial contributions to an appropriate donation drive provided by a merchant. The system includes a merchant, a customer, payment network, a donation drive enabler, and a payment interface. The customer on purchasing through a merchant application initialize a transaction and probes the donation drive enabler to retrieving a donation drive created using the rules engine and display it to the customer on the merchant application. The customer may donate a certain amount to the donation drive while doing the checkout process in the merchant application. The payment network facilitates the payment transaction between the issuer - merchant and issuer - charity partner through a payment interface which transfers funds to multiple accounts (merchant account and charity partner account) simultaneously. Thereby, enabling the customers to participate in a merchant’s CSR initiatives.
