Abstract
A method and system for transmitted view-once (VO) documents, such as a PDF, through a messaging platform, or the like, is provided. The method includes receiving a document, wherein the document is uploaded to the messaging platform on a first user device. The method also includes determining that the document is to be transmitted as a VO message, encrypting the document, based on the determining that the document is to be transmitted as a VO message, using a unique encryption key, transmitting the encrypted document to one or more second user devices, and decrypting the transmitted document at the one or more second user devices, using a unique decryption key. The method further includes displaying the decrypted document in the messaging platform, on a user interface (UI) corresponding to the one or more second user devices, as a view-once message.
