Abstract
This paper describes an optical configuration which enables a user to experience virtual images in the field of view at the same time enabling the other people in the surroundings to clearly see the eyes of the user of the optical configuration. The optical configuration consists of a set of video displays, a set of convex lens parts which are oriented in the same direction as the set of video displays, a set of convex lens parts which are oriented in the perpendicular direction to the set of video displays, a set of convex lens parts which are oriented at an angular direction to the set of video displays, a set of concave mirror parts which are oriented at an angular direction to the set of video displays, a set of angled beam splitters and a set of black coloured surfaces.
