Abstract
A system for facilitating a collaborative effort to develop open RAN components and drive solutions with vendor-neutral hardware and software based on open interfaces and community-defined standards is provided. The aim is to accelerate the adoption of open RAN through simplified, flexible and efficient RAN technologies. The system may deliver innovative radio products and may lower the total cost of ownership for operators.
