Abstract
Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) standards are currently studying use cases in which some network operators may use more than one Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) ID. In some instances, due to certain business and/or operational demands, for example, it might be necessary to route signaling traffic of a certain customer segment of one PLMN to another PLMN at which to handle subscriber traffic for the customer segment. Presented herein are techniques that can be utilized to facilitate redirecting a user to a partner network.
