Abstract
The invention proposes that a kitchen appliance with a camera assisted cooking to achieve auto white balance (AWB) by using an algorithm. The algorithm allows the prevention of color biasing, commonly caused by a color channel failure during image processing. The color biasing results in the wrong estimation of food browning to mislead users to end up cooking processes based on the image's information with low qualities. It causes the users to get overcooked or undercooked foods to degrade the user experience. Hence, the invention solves the color biasing issue, thereby allowing accurate identification of food browning inside an oven.
