Abstract

The invention proposes a plancha, i.e., a griddle, integrated into a hob appliance, for the extraction of cookware fumes. The plancha arranged on the cooktop of the hob appliance comprises a lid, wherein the lid is arranged on the grilling surface of the plancha to form a cooking chamber where the targeted food may cause humid and greasy fumes during a cooking process. Openings for sucking airflow and for exhausting fumes are respectively formed on the opposite walls of the lid. A fume-guiding route is formed on the basis of the structure of the lid and the plancha. Accordingly, the invention provides an integrated cooking hob appliance capable of guiding and effectively extracting fumes from a cooking chamber to an extractor and improving the cooking performance within the cooking chamber.
