Abstract

Protected Execution-Finality Control with Independent Validation, Operation Reconstruction, and Non-Bearer Enablement The invention relates to controlling externally consequential operations initiated by artificialintelligence agents, software, distributed services, and electronic devices. A proposed operation is held as a Candidate Act in a Non-Effective State. Protected evidence associated with originating source authority and the proposed operation is collected and independently validated. In embodiments, collection-time and execution-time evidence are cross-committed and associated with a scoped, non-bearer finality enablement. At a controlled effectuation boundary, a Finality Sink independently obtains or reconstructs the Actual Pending Operation and checks its effect-relevant parameters against current authority, protected validation evidence, applicable generations, enablement, and sink-local protected state. Satisfactory checks permit controlled release; missing, mismatched, stale, or consumed authority causes withholding or qualified recovery. Implementations include network transmission, persistent-state commits, credential activation, financial operations, cloud-resource changes, information disclosure, and device actuation.

Relevant Industries and Applications

  • Artificial Intelligence & Robotics: Prevents unauthorized AI-generated actions and autonomous decisions.

  • Banking & Financial Services: Protects payments, fund transfers and financial transactions.

  • Telecommunications: Controls network changes, data transmission and infrastructure operations.

  • Cloud Computing & Data Centres: Prevents unauthorized resource changes and privileged operations.

  • Cybersecurity & Enterprise IT: Provides independent authorization and execution-time security.

  • Healthcare & Medical Devices: Controls consequential system operations and device actuation.

  • Industrial Automation & Manufacturing: Secures machinery, industrial control systems and automated processes.

  • Aerospace: Protects mission-critical commands and sensitive operations.

  • Internet of Things (IoT): Prevents unauthorized device commands and physical actions.

  • Government & Critical Infrastructure: Ensures controlled, traceable and verifiable execution.

Why Is This Invention Important?

It addresses a fundamental security problem: an AI agent or software system may propose an operation, but should not independently possess the authority to execute it.

The invention ensures that only authorized, independently verified and current operations can produce real-world consequences.
