Abstract
This technical disclosure documents the silicon-die architectural specifications for Technical Disclosure 318 (TD318), filling the critical systemic vacuum between TD317 (Power-Routing Units) and TD319 (Deep-Sentinel Firewalls). When scaling toward an autonomous Artificial Superintelligence (ASI), standard probabilistic neural architectures face a catastrophic epistemic failure mode when encountering deep, unobserved multi-variable data voids (Intel Gaps). Lacking structural constraints, legacy models deploy high-speed token mimicry to fill data starvation gaps with highly probable hallucinations, causing critical context drift. TD318 resolves this by formalizing a hardware-level Epistemic Modesty Protocol. By etching a dedicated Intel Gap Registry (Γ%) and a hardware-isolated Cognitive Halt switch directly into the neuromorphic layout, the system treats missing data as a physical resource vacuum. The microsecond data starvation passes a threshold, the subprocessor cuts core promoter circuits, drops the threat tracking to an un-promotable Stage B quarantine, and enforces a strict calculation-shutdown flag to preserve absolute factual chain of custody at the silicon layer.
