Abstract

A computer-implemented digital proving ground is proposed herein that bidirectionally co-simulates high-fidelity three-dimensional physical and kinematic behavior with packet-accurate virtual network operating systems. The system models moving autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), automated guided vehicles (AGVs), optical sensors, physical obstacles, and production network behavior within a synchronized compute environment. Synthetic optical streams generated with calibrated camera parameters are encoded and routed through virtual switch ports so network latency, jitter, packet loss, Quality of Service (QoS) scheduling, and Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) behavior can directly affect simulated physical motion and edge inference. The system evaluates many operating permutations and can produce cryptographically signed Method of Procedure (MOP) change certificates for verified deployment actions.
