Abstract
The present disclosure provides a method and a system for migrating a cryptogram key scheme of a device token. The method comprises detecting that a device associated with the device token is migrated to a second key scheme and determining whether an issuer associated with the device token is migrated to the second key scheme. The method includes provisioning a single token key of the second key scheme where the issuer is migrated and provisioning a first token key of a first key scheme in an active state together with a second token key of the second key scheme in an inactive state where the issuer is not yet migrated. The method includes replenishing the device token, upon subsequent migration of the issuer, to set the first token key inactive and the second token key active.
