Abstract
A system is proposed herein for coordinating WiFi 8 Dynamic Sub-channel Operation (DSO), Non-Primary Channel Access (NPCA), and Dynamic Bandwidth Expansion (DBE) across a fleet of access points (APs). The system uses floor map-aware radio frequency (RF) modeling to generate location-dependent DSO policies and coordinated cross-AP NPCA channel plans, validates wired backhaul capacity before permitting DBE, and uses aggregated client capability information to tailor DSO policies to a site's client mix. For operation in the 6 GHz band, the system incorporates Automated Frequency Coordination (AFC) channel and power constraints into DSO and NPCA policy generation and pre-computes fallback configurations before AFC authorizations expire.
