Abstract
The present disclosure provides a multi-agent software-generation system comprising a staged pipeline of iterative stage agents. The pipeline generates software-development artifacts including requirements, architecture, specification, testing, implementation, security-review, and deployment artifacts. A gating agent evaluates an upstream artifact and, when a gate condition is not satisfied, generates a structured fix-request artifact identifying an affected artifact and a required change. A pipeline orchestrator routes the fix-request artifact to an upstream stage agent, which patches an affected section of the artifact. The revised artifact is returned to the gating agent for re-evaluation. The system further stores human questions and corresponding answers in association with pipeline stages. When a retry is requested, the system loads previously generated artifacts and prior answers, skips stages preceding a selected retry stage, and re-executes the selected stage using supplied guidance and the prior answers. The system thereby provides gated, cascading, traceable, and human-steerable generation of software.
