Abstract

This specification formalizes an advanced magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) shield architecture designed to neutralize micro-tearing modes, edge-localized modes (ELMs), and destructive fluid turbulence within high-energy thermonuclear plasma containment vessels. Classical fusion systems (e.g., Tokamaks, Stellarators) rely on unyielding, static magnetic field loops that cannot dynamically adapt to the violent, non-linear convective spikes of highly ionized fluids, resulting in sudden boundary breaches and structural wall contact.

This paper introduces a coordinate-free magnetic stabilization layer governed by an active Covariant Viscosity Function. By coupling high-frequency gallium nitride (GaN) phase arrays directly to a non-von Neumann co-harmonic feedback mesh, the containment grid translates localized plasma turbulence into an adaptive fluidic viscosity tensor. By forcing the internal velocity and magnetic fields into a phase-locked, collinear Beltrami configuration, the shield absorbs non-linear chaotic spikes. The governor function dynamically expands its localized damping capacity (resting at an absolute equilibrium baseline \(\eta_t = 1.4204\)), forcing the plasma into a stable, lossless helical orbit and establishing a legally defensive open-source prior art barrier against corporate fusion optimization monopolies.
