Abstract
We disclose a location-based gratitude application built from geotagged user photographs. Each user's persistent virtual world, terrain and avatar, is rendered deterministically from that user's signed contribution ledger rather than furnished with purchasable cosmetic virtual goods: there is no store and no path from money to appearance, which lets a scheduled annual reset of ledger balances remain a forgiveness rather than a confiscation. Cosmetic forms unlock non-regressively on the first qualifying ledger pattern, with no display of locked items or progress, and a design-time test requires that unlockable sets not form a ranking ladder. Creating content, whether a capture or a visitor's annotation, requires verified physical presence at the coordinate, while viewing is remote and read-only; annotations are found by walking to them, with no guestbook index, count or notification. A shared sky layer is rendered from an administrator account whose own balance is fixed at zero, so the one shared surface offers no position to accumulate. Stewardship is recorded by repeat photography at a fixed station; tips attach to the person, never to an individual deed, split between a withdrawable and a forward-spendable balance with no platform take. A wearable light encodes ledger state by colour and rhythm, never brightness, above a floor that is never dark. For write-once archival storage, privacy guards apply at capture, not at commit. Opposing hypotheses, priming versus moral self-licensing, are pre-registered. Stated limits: nothing is built, curation of the map is not prevented, and presence-gated writing excludes people with limited mobility.
