Abstract
The present application relates to amorphous solid dispersions comprising (S)-1-(4-fluorophenyl)-1-(2-(4-(6-(1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)pyrrolo[2,1-f][1,2,4]triazin-4-yl)piperazin-yl)pyrimidin-5-yl)ethan-1-amine of formula-1 and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients and process for the preparation thereof. The structure of formula-1, which is referred to as Avapritinib, is shown below.

The present application also describes crystalline form of Avapritinib and its process for the preparation.
