Abstract

Creating a game application has become faster and easier with the advancements of artificial intelligence; however, game testing and quality assurance have advanced at a much slower pace. This publication describes techniques to combat the widening gap between game creation and quality assurance by utilizing an agentic framework for automated game QA and autonomous game testing to assure the quality of game applications in a scalable, efficient, and cost-effective format. Described techniques may enable the reconstruction of a pseudo view-hierarchy (or DOM reconstruction) from game graphical user interface images using UI crawling and computer vision testing, identify and utilize specified image-embedded instructions like a digital watermark or steganographic watermark, instrument game runtime for test automation, and leverage hybrid model optimization to navigate a simulated user journey.
