Abstract
A multi-stage low-voltage (LV) electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) filter topology independently suppresses common-mode (CM) and differential-mode (DM) high-frequency noise in automotive e-powertrain inverters. The circuit implements structural staging combined with damping resistors to enable frequency-specific noise attenuation. By partitioning the filter into three distinct DM stages and two distinct CM stages, the architecture allows precise, independent tuning across low, middle, and high-frequency spectrums without causing negative resonance or affecting adjacent bands.
