PRECURSOR‑X is an open‑hardware, builder‑ready early‑warning system that continuously interrogates vulnerable terrain and infrastructure using controlled mechanical excitation, distributed fiber sensing, multi‑physics mapping, and transfer‑function drift analysis. It detects pre‑failure physical‑state evolution and post‑initiation hazard propagation within the same corridor, enabling earlier, more actionable evacuation warnings for earthquakes, landslides, debris flows, dam failures, moraine failures, and glacial lake outburst floods (GLOFs).
