Abstract
Defensive publication and enabling prior-art disclosure of a system in which an unmodified consumer smartphone lying on a turntable platter — or held in the hand — acts simultaneously as rotation sensor, control-signal generator, display, and self-contained playback deck. Discloses: gyroscope-primary sensing with absolute anchors capped below perceptual thresholds; a world-stabilized display and world-coordinate touch on a physically rotating screen; spindle-offset, shove, lift, platter-warp, and resting-plane estimation from inertial data; optional motor-field witnesses; on-device control-signal synthesis and angle/tick transport; and a method for separating an intended in-band oscillatory gesture from pathological tremor for assistive input. Published to constitute prior art and dedicated to the public; no patent is sought. Acknowledged prior art includes André Rickli WO 97/01168 (priority 1995). The accompanying unit files each disclose one mechanism individually.
