Abstract
The present application relates to a novel crystalline form of (S)-1-(4-fluorophenyl)-1-(2-(4-(6-(1-methyl-1Hpyrazol-4-yl)pyrrolo[2,1-f][1,2,4]triazin-4-yl)piperazin-yl)pyrimidin-5-yl)ethan-1-amine which is represented by the following structural formula-1, which is referred to as Avapritinib.

The present disclosure also relates to a process for the preparation of amorphous form of (S)-1-(4-fluorophenyl)-1-(2-(4-(6-(1-methyl-1Hpyrazol-4-yl) pyrrolo[2,1-f][1,2,4]triazin-4-yl)piperazin-yl)pyrimidin-5-yl)ethan-1-amine.
