Abstract

In multi-channel e-commerce, merchants may utilize separate product data feeds, for instance, for online and local inventory, which can lead to data conflicts and inconsistencies that may not be detected by single-feed validation checks. A system for automated, cross-feed auditing can address these potential issues. The system can integrate and cross-reference data from multiple sources, including online, local, and historical data repositories, to create a more comprehensive view of product data. It may use analytical modules to identify price or availability discrepancies between feeds, diagnose reasons for suppressed promotional badging based on time-series rules, and suggest missing product attributes based on market trends. This approach can facilitate the identification, prioritization, and remediation of data integrity issues that could impact advertising performance.
