Abstract
Professionals in hybrid and remote work environments frequently face challenges transitioning between casual attire and business-appropriate clothing for unexpected or back-toback video calls. Existing solutions such as virtual try-on engines, three-dimensional (3D) avatars, and facial augmented reality (AR) filters suffer from limitations including offline processing requirements, loss of authentic human presence, and inability to handle body apparel dynamics. The disclosed technology provides a digital wardrobe system integrated into video communication pre-call interfaces, utilizing edge-based neural rendering to synthesize realistic clothing over live video streams. The system employs neural fabric anchoring with pose estimation for temporal stability, and a real-time depth-based occlusion arbitrator that segments hands and objects to render them naturally in front of virtual garments. Calendar-driven automation may pre-select appropriate attire based on meeting metadata, reducing manual configuration while maintaining professional appearance during video communications.
