Abstract
This paper describes a timepiece device that have the capability to exist both as a traditional watch and a smart watch. The entire timepiece device will consist of a traditional watch that will display the time in a traditional manner and a transparent display that will function as a user interface for a smart watch. The containing traditional watch structure and the smart watch interface will be housed within a physical structure. And the physical structure will house all the entities that will be required to make the containing traditional watch function and will house all the entities that will be required to make the containing smart watch and the smart watch interface function. In addition to that, the containing traditional watch will have the capability to exhibit a comparatively longer battery life and the containing smart watch will have the capability to exhibit a comparatively shorter battery life. Furthermore, the timepiece device methodology will have the capability to be applicable to both the traditional analogue watches with clock hands to represent the time related entities and to the traditional digital watches with digital representations to represent the time related entities. The timepiece device that have the capability to exist both as a traditional watch and a smart watch will provide the user of the timepiece device with the capabilities and the benefits of a traditional watch and will provide the user of the timepiece device with the capabilities and the benefits of a smart watch, in a one package.
