Abstract
This paper describes a virtually appearing computer keyboard that will appear in the field of vision of the user while occluding the hands of the user utilizing virtual vision where the virtual occlusion procedure will facilitate the keyboard typing experience. The entire virtually appearing computer keyboard typing experience will be required to utilize virtual technologies such as augmented reality technology or virtual reality technology with the capability to virtually observe the view of the real world by utilizing a live camera feed. In addition to that, the entire virtually appearing computer keyboard typing experience will be required to utilize technologies that would enable to determine the position and the orientation of the device associated with the utilizing virtual technology relative to the actual physical computer keyboard. By utilizing such a relative position and orientation tracking technology, a virtual computer key board showing only the keycaps of the virtual computer keyboard will always appear over the actual utilizing physical computer keyboard while occluding the user’s hands when required. And this virtual computer keyboard keycap collection that will appear in the field of vision of the user will virtually resemble the actual physical computer keyboard keycap collection of the actual physical computer keyboard keycap collection. In addition to that, whenever the user of the virtually appearing computer keyboard will press on an actual physical keyboard keycap, the user will be provided with a virtual keyboard keycap magnifying animation experience that will trigger an enhancing visual perceptional experience of the keycap press event.
