Abstract
This paper describes an octagonal shaped composite lens formation logic that will enable to create composite converging lens formations and composite diverging lens formations where the lens constructing geometry will be optimized for observation procedures. The octagonal shaped composite lens formation logic will incorporate a collection of individual lens structures for the formation of the complete lens formation. Each individual lens structure will be positioned at a unique location within the lens formation. And each individual lens structure will be configured with the curvature that will enable it to deviate the light rays it will receive at its corresponding unique location within the lens formation. In addition to that, each individual lens structure will be geometrically configured to have angular surfaces. Furthermore, the collection of the individual lens structures with angular surfaces, once utilized for the construction of the composite lens formation, will collectively and concurrently will provide the eye of the observer of the composite lens formation with an unobstructed view through the composite lens formation. Altogether, the octagonal shaped composite lens formation logic will be based on two general lens structural designs, namely, the triangular prism shaped lens structure and the trapezoidal prism shaped lens structure. The octagonal shaped composite lens formation logic will applicable to the construction of converging lens formations and to the construction of diverging lens formations.
