Abstract
Compressor casings are machined with slots for every compressor stage to facilitate insertion of compressor stator blades. In the same way, turbine casings are machined with the slots for assembling the required hot gas path parts. These slots are machined with the hook interface at forward and aft of every slot, making the manufacturing very complex and time intensive.
