Abstract

This disclosure describes a non‑invasive, ear‑based neuromodulation system for dementia support. It uses bilateral ear‑canal devices to:

  • Sense autonomic state (heart rate, HRV surrogate, temperature, motion).

  • Capture ambient sound (TV, conversation, music).

  • Deliver gentle electrical and acoustic stimulation in a closed loop to support arousal stability, calm, and engagement.

It is intended as a supportive system, not a cure or neuron‑regrowth therapy.
