Abstract
ONRS‑AMD v1.0 is a fully open, build‑ready, non‑invasive macular drug‑delivery platform using low‑intensity focused ultrasound, acoustic vortex field shaping, and a periocular drug/gel reservoir to drive therapeutic molecules across the cornea, sclera, and choroid toward the macula.
The system uses a 12‑element ultrasound ring with independent phase control, programmable delivery modes, and integrated safety logic.
This disclosure provides complete mechanical blueprints, electronics, firmware logic, assembly steps, phantom testbeds, validation protocols, and safety requirements, enabling any research group to fabricate and test the system without licensing barriers.
