Abstract
Described herein is a Session Management Function Management Function (SMF-MF) that can provide a unified, intelligent system for optimizing performance across Any-G networks. By leveraging subscriber-level data and real-time network analytics, the SMF-MF can enable AI-driven load balancing and seamless session management while significantly reducing signaling overhead. The disclosed architecture may provide a centralized and future-ready approach to gateway selection that bridges operational differences between Long-Term Evolution (LTE) and Fifth Generation (5G) environments.
