Abstract
The new Water Route design relocates most tubing to the exterior of the unit, along the edge between the back panel and top, using a protective guide part. This part includes a quick connector for linking to either the Fresh Food Ice Maker (FFIM) or the internal dispenser, depending on the model. In the Internal Dispenser version, a rubber grommet secures the tube who goes for the housing and prevents foam leakage. In the External Dispenser version, an extra tube runs to the hinge cover, which has snap-fits and a trim piece to conceal the tubing. For the Freezer Ice Maker (FZIM), the route includes an elbow connector who attached to a tube that leads to the freezer ice maker fill tube.
