Abstract
This disclosure relates to the field of audio and video synchronization in wireless consumer electronics systems. A system is disclosed that transmits audio data over a standard Bluetooth connection while using a secondary channel such as infrared or visual signals to deliver precise timing cues. These cues enable the receiving device to eliminate perceptible latency and maintain accurate alignment between the audio and the associated visual content.
