The present application relates to a novel crystalline form of 4-[3­chloro-4-(N’-cyclopropylureido)phenoxy]-7-methoxyquinoline-6-carboxamide isethionate which is represented by the following structural formula-1b, which is referred to as Lenvatinib isethionate.
