Abstract
This method aims to protect a crucial hardware component (reverse diode) of a quasi-resonant induction generator by estimating one specific electrical parameter (its current). This is achieved by estimating such parameter, estimating its limit and change the working point of the generator in case the limit is surpassed. This lowers breakage likelihood and lengthens lifespan of the component (and the appliance).
