Abstract
In virtual meetings, hand raise gestures are used by participants to indicate their desire to speak. When multiple participants provide hand raises, it is difficult for moderators to assign priority to different participants. This disclosure describes the use of artificial intelligence techniques, implemented with user permission, to analyze meeting content and participant actions to automatically determine priority for different speakers. The determined priority is indicated to all participants via suitable visual indicators such as color-coded user interface elements and/or adjusting a size, color, or other attribute of participant video thumbnails.
