Abstract
Despite useful features offered by a software, sometimes software pricing and packaging repel consumers and demotivates them in even taking a first step of evaluation.
Rarely, we have seen software/hardware used full 24 hours of a day but still as a consumer, I am paying for the 24 hours of the day.
At the same time, as a cloud software vendor, I know my customer is not using cloud applications for 24 hours but still I am paying to Infrastructure provider for 24 hours.
License with daily time fencing can help consumers by offering them a cheaper license and can also help ISV in infrastructure demand forecasting.
