Abstract
The present invention relates to a process for preparation of compound of Formula I or salt thereof, which involves diazotization of compound of Formula (II) followed by reduction. The compound of Formula I is utilized as a key starting material or intermediate in the synthesis of pharmaceutical substances and agrochemicals.
